London Street Art

[Lesson 5648...] Take the time to enjoy your local murals/street art as they have a habit of dissappearing just as fast as they came! [/Lesson_over]

Love em' or hate em', every city and town has them - Street art!

What say you, yay or nay?!?

OK, so there quite a few around that bug the ish out of me, but then the ones that do make me smile make up for it. Some places suit street art more than others, where it looks out of place. My area is known for its artist parties lol and just down the road from me, there is a house that purposely covered their front wall with a really beautiful piece of artwork. I pass it everyday when I'm off to work, yet I only took the time to really admire it once last week. The next day, the council came around and hid it with black paint... Hmmmm, now it looks a real mess! ... missing it.

Napptural Inspiration In The Media

It's great to see that there are more and more natural models in adverts. In fact, I actuaaly would go as far as to say that in the UK, most adverts I see now of Black or biracial women have natural hair. YAY! Here are a few I love.

Over the years, I have seen it to be transformed into something more and more beautiful and in tune with women all over the world.

In this issue:
HOPE - The hopeful woman embraces her deepest wishes. She trusts her instincts and desires to create a clear vision of her future. Her confidence becomes buoyant as she looks forward to the pleasing promise of an optimistic outcome. She creates plans to accomplish her vision and realize the fulfillment of her hopes. Her positive expectations encourage her to begin the journey toward success.

Fashionista Fun @ NEET Online Magazine

NEET magazine

For the longest time I have been avoiding any magazines - mainly because I haven't really found something that I could enjoy as an expression of how I feel or would like to dress. Until now, some magazines have caught my attention. This is one of them that appeals to my fashion taste buds and is born in the UK.

I found this magazine through myspace and loved it from the moment I went to the website... it's more like an online catalogue that puts together and celebrates independent fashion designers around the world - So for those of you who like to shop online (like me!) and want to support independent artists, this is a GREAT insight on what's out there from our own computer screen.

Enjoy!
